Thermal transfer printing on T-shirts
Thermal transfer printing on T-shirts
Description
Direct printing on T-shirts is the most popular branding option.
In this case, the images on the T-shirts are resistant to any conditions of use.
Withstands multiple washes, and in general, the T-shirt will wear out faster than the drawing itself. However, recently, due to the improvement of transfer technology, the indirect type of printing on T-shirts is becoming more and more used.
Thermal transfer printing is carried out in several stages:
- First, we make the transfer itself or thermoapplication. It can be done using screen printing or digital printing. As a result, we get an inverted image on special paper or film.
- We transfer the image (in inversion) to a T-shirt, baseball cap, shorts, pants, sports uniform, overalls or any other type of clothing. This transfer is carried out at a temperature of at least 160 degrees using a special heat press.
As a result, we get the desired image on the fabric.
Ordering thermal transfer printing is especially beneficial when applying logos to different types of clothing. In addition, it is convenient to have a few images in stock in excess of the required circulation, in order to then finish the promotional clothing for the newly hired employees, or special promotions.
Polygraphy Triada-M makes custom-made thermal applications (thermal transfers), and also applies them to T-shirts and other clothes for the customer.
Important!
If the clothing is provided by the customer, it must be new, free from stains, seams, etc. Since processing the product at high temperatures will reveal and fix any existing stains and streaks.
